Now BOS, I know that you and Ray have a love/hate relationship... But if you have been following BBQ for any length of time... My guess is you would be hard pressed to not name Ray in the list of folks that have influenced BBQ the most. Ray has been a trend setter for all of us BBQ comp cooks and folks trying to make a living off of BBQ for years and years. You obviously did not follow along when Ray was on the BOD and what he was trying to do with KCBS.
So while it's real funny about you and him running on about you thinking he is the greatest author ever for BBQ. You have to give him props for what he has done. Which is opened the doors for a lot of folks in the World of BBQ. I know, cause he opened the door for me.
So while I don't expect you to come out and give Ray his props, you also don't need to try and be dragging him down either.
