It's my understanding that current KCBS CBJs in good standing can take any KCBS CBJ class they want to any time they want to, subject to space availability of course, at no cost. At least that's what I've heard instructors tell their classes on numerous occasions while I was prepping boxes in the kitchen.
As I see it, the problem is that the current KCBS judging program does not encourage, promote or require occasional refresher training for its judges...say every 3-5 years. Good Q'en On Ya'. John
