Yup, I have 2 in the basement I got on a closeout dealy thing. Takes 2 d batteries or the plug in thingy. I figured I'd buy them just in case and it hasn't happened til now. Send me an email at jackitup at embarqmail dot com. You can have it for the shipping cost.
