So, I've read on this forum something like (paraphrasing)"What spice do you think is the best all around rub spice and you just have to have it in your rub"? questions before.
My question is...
What spice do you see used often that people or cookbooks say is important, essential etc that you think is the most overrated, unimportant, unnecessary over used etc? The spice that you think is a waste of money and you don't need in rubs but is called for all the time.
