Well, I never had any of them work really good. I think that all of the ones that I have seen are pretty weak signal wise. Don't know if they are advanced enough to have different bands, thus the limited range.

I have recently ordered a "Stoker" actually from the ad that was on this site. I like what it claims to do and there are some actual youtube videos to verify.

I don't have it yet because they said it would be two weeks to build and ship. I know it is somehwat detailed and does much more than monitor food temps but hands down if you want multiple temprature probes and be able to monitor the progress across the world in real time the Stoker seems to fit the bill.

P.S. this is not an endorsement as I have not had possession on one yet but It seems to be a real solution to your needs.
