Thanks to everybody for all the nice words. It looks like they were just getting ready to strip it when the cops found out and showed up. My very lucky day!
The cop was as happy as I was. He said they were really looking hard for it and I believe him. I'm sure all the networking my friends did helped keep the pressure on. I thank you all!

I'm in WV now but Monday morning instead of going home we head back to Texas. This trip will now be about 6000 miles in two and a half weeks! Yikes!
