Put about 5 lbs of charcoal in firebox, put 3 or 4 arm size sticks
of wood on top the charcoal, then hit it with weed burner for about 10 minutes...
When pits up to temp, place meat in pit..
Never had any problems if I add unlit charcoal later during the cook..
