Speaking of carports.... My Dad and I were working on a friends house a few years back. She was recently widowed and moving to Colorado. In the carport I spied a charcoal cooker in the corner that obviously had not been used in years. The name on it said Kenmore but it was an exact copy of a Hasty Bake. I told Dad that it looked to be made in the 50' or 60's. I asked her if she would sell it and she said " yep...$25 ". Needless to say it was transported home that afternoon. I called Hasty Bake and sure enough, that model was an early 60's model. Funny thing is, the parts are the same as the ones they manufacture today. Said they would refurbish the whole thing for $200.
