Hey John, If the judges just limited their comments to a few words, would it really take up too much of their time? I realize you what goes on the judging tent a lot more than I have. Most of the contests I have judged, there would have been plenty of time for the judges to write six incomplete sentences.
I would rather have the awards ceremony an hour late knowing that the judges actually spent a little time evaluating my entry and taking two bites than taking a nibble and writing a random number on a sheet of paper.
