Ford has the best frame, Dodge the best engine, Chevy the best transmission. If only we could get an F350 Super Duty with a Cummins motor turning an Allison transmission!

My current truck is a 2001 Dodge 2500 with the 24 valve Cummins, no mods, but no tailpipe. Around town she gets 18 mpg, 20 on the highway with me and my luggage. Towing it goes down to about 16 for a single axle trailer, 14 for a light tandem and 11-12 if you want to pull a house. This assumes you keep it under 2000 RPM, which means a top end of about 68 mph.
