I agree with you 100%. When I get scores I always want to see how close I was to beating the best, or by how much I beat them by. If someone want's to bring in a ringer, even for non bbq catagories, I'm all for it. I want to beat the best, and if someone doesn't think they are the best I really don't concern myself with them as competition. Otherwise why compete anyway.
