My F250 exploded a muffler leaving Cartersville a few years ago. It was too loud to drive home. No, really.
I spent the night in ATL, then went to a Home Depot to get some sheet metal and baling wire, intending to wrap the muffler and quiet it down.
The HD floor guy had no idea what I meant by "baling wire".
I told him, "It's to fix a Ford".
He said, "Aisle 14, halfway down on the right".
So, get yourself a roll of baling wire. Take the fender off. Wire the headlight and turn signal back in the neighborhood of where they were. Run the truck through some mud.
You're in the South. You'll fit right in.
