On my side, what was brought out appeared to be roast beef that had sat in a steam table all day. I got a half plate and poured some au jus on it. What we ended up with was dried out meat that was very salty. Not a comparable substitute in my opinion. Very little salad in the bowl and the most watered down ranch dressing I have ever tasted. And boiled chicken wings. I think it was supposed to be baked chicken. But, if it was baked, it must have sat in some sort of broth for hours judging by the consistency of the meat and skin. I hope you enjoyed the food you got, but our table was not impressed at all. I'm laying the blame on the caterer, not the people in line ahead of us, not the poor fellow at the carving station who was suffering the verbal barrage of the dissatisfied people, not KCBS, but the caterer. I told the poor fellow who was carving that it wasn't his fault but the fault kitchen manager. But, hey, I did have a great slice of Mrs. Smith's frozen pecan pie. What I'm saying is that was inexcusable. I would like to know what the charge was for the meal as I hope the entire $55.00 fee didn't go toward that dinner.
