If read literally, you would pretty much have to answer yes to the poll. With the large number of teams across North America, it's unlikely that there isn't at least one cook that cheats out there.

I chose to interpret the question a bit more liberally, and answered NO, because:

1) I believe the overwhelming number of my fellow cooks are honest. I would estimate fewer than one in a hundred knowingly cheats.

2) I don't think there are any big advantages to be gained by any of the cheating methods I've heard discussed.

Bottom line is I think all this hullabaloo about cheating is a tempest in a teapot. Of course some dramatic bust or confession of a cheater tomorrow could prove me wrong, but for the average cook at the average contest I think it's not worth worrying about.
