Paul: The Minion Method inspired me to start doing The Fuse on my 22.5-in. Kettle. Also good on the 27-in. Three rows of briquettes, like fallen dominoes, touching, two rows on bottom and one on top. Some wood in the first half of the burn. Light off one side (8-10 coals). Vents open and cover. It will give you a full 6 hour burn, untouched and untended, maintaining about 250 at the dome. One or two butts will fit in the middle, over a half-size drip pan. No joke. I have been doing this for years, hundreds of burns. Come with me on this one and let me know how it worked.
