Not too many people in my area know about BBQ. I found myself near one of the few places that sometimes carries the WSM, and I found myself taking a look. Now I found this forum more than twelve years ago, and I was steered to "Black Betty" which changed the way I cook. I too wrote to Weber and asked for the creation of the 22, but I got both cheap and lazy.

When I saw the display of Dizzy Pig, I suddenly gave in to the inevitable; why was I waiting? I have almost stopped using my original WSM because it was almost past repair. With my football scenario dashed to bits, I needed something to lift my spirits.

Tonight we welcomed either:
New Black Betty
Big Black Betty
Black R2
Caesar ( I won the money at Caesar's last August)

I assembled it in the living room, but my wife hates it because it rumbles as she walks past. "I feel like I weigh 1,000 pounds. When are you going to take it outside?"

I think it makes a good conversation piece.

Inaugural cook on Sunday. I can't stand to see the trash mouths play.
