A couple of years ago I spent about 10 weeks in Ghent, Belgium on a project. There were four small rib joints within walking distance of the hotel where I stayed. That's the kind of ribs they served. Grilled and very good with very good red wine and beans. A most popular dish in Belgium. I ate them about every other night. On the other nights it was beef short ribs and a lot of roast rabbit...
