A year or two ago, I was in KC and I picked up a bag of Smokin Guns Hot (6lb bag) and had it in my carryon bag. TSA actually tested it for explosives because it had a signature similar to something in their files.

Another true story-flying home from Fairbanks, Alaska, again with SG Hot. TSA brought out a chemical kit and tested the rub with drops of some liquid to see if it changed colors. They did but not to a danger-sign color

That TG HOT is some HOTT stuff
