I'm not sure if this fit's the situation...but it might...

"2011 Rules and Regulations
1) The decision and interpretations of the KCBS Rules and
Regulations are at the discretion of the KCBS Contest
Representatives at the contest. Their decisions and
interpretations are final to the extent consistent with the
rules."
Right from the KCBS website.
Everything else is either rear view mirror or needs to be brought to the attention of the KCBS BOD, for review. 152 posts on this Forum will solve nothing.(other than lessen cabin fever or create other stuff down the road) Tuffy was late, Carolyn was in a hard spot. Tuffy is over it and probably won't ever be late for another turn in, as neither will Chris Lilly, Byron Chisom and a host of other top teams that have been dq'ed for late turn ins. The atomic clock is one thing in Competition BBQ that cannot be manipulated by politics. You either make the turn in on time or you do not. It's a one second deal there. No standing line. No line at the doorway. It's on the tray when time is up or it isn't.(Reps discretion, if there is a line to turn in entries) If the rules state the box gets a 1 for a legal turn in, but was late, then that's what the box gets. Shouldn't be that hard to understand. End of story.
