I was the executive editor of "The BBQer" when the magazine merged with Fiery Foods creating "Fiery Foods & BBQ" magazine where I served as a senior editor until the print publication was discontinued.
Publishing a print magazine is extremely difficult in this economic environment... a lot of folks won't pay for a subscription when so much information is available on-line.
That's why Fiery Foods is launching an on-line digital magazine in a couple of months. "Burn!" will include content similar to "Fiery Foods & BBQ" and "The BBQer" along with new features and writers.
