I just skimmed down the KCBS site list of contests and as of right now there is not another contest in the same state as one of the Sam's contests on the same days. The closest I could find is the same weekend that the one in Lexena on 7/1 - 7/2 is one in Gilard on 7/2 - 7/3. That is back to back contests that are only about 100 miles apart. They could help each other. Now that one thing that I did not do was look at maps to see if there was a contest right across a state line that moght be effected. Seems strange for a big money promoter to be crying about a contest series taking out the small friendly local contests. Seems like you have something else on your agenda. Why not air your true complaints here rather than try to get everyone stirred up.

Legal disclaimer: I have never been to one of Ron's contests and probably never will. I am a small contest kind of guy and that is the way I will stay. I do wish him luck in his endevors. I like the big contests that draw the big guns away from time to time to give me a better shoot at winning in the small contests.
