Chili 2011. 18 lbs of brisket, ribeye, ground chuck, 6-7 kinds of beans, a 5 gallon bucket 3/4s full with onions, green peppers, jalapenos, celery, mushrooms. Fire roasted diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, juice, beef broth, beer & brandy for the cook and the cooked so we both got cooked!!! Many spices etc, etc and YUM for the Super Bowl tomorrow. To be served with optional toppings of lime wedges, shredded cheese, onions, diced pickled japs, sour cream, crackers all the usual suspects AND of course savory buttermilk cornbread muffins!!!
yes, I like beans in my chili. I am a Yankee after all......
