I'll be honest. Of course these are just my opinions, because I sure do not want to have someone else PO'd at me!!! ;) But I really think that the whole State Championships issue was not even considered or thought of... Is this KCBS organizing or is this the marketing company putting on contests. Who is the expert and do they know the importance of this designation? (I do know some of these questions, but thinking out loud!) I just don't understand how KCBS can place these designations on KCBS contests for years and years. But when Sam's comes along, we don't seem to have any importance for these designations?
Will I cook in the series? Yes I will. I've decided that getting in to the Jack is not that high on my list anymore. I'ts become too much of a craap shoot and I have bigger goals in my BBQ career.
