If you register with your KCBS member # then it is for on ly one team. If you gave your team name to the KCBS and it appears on your bullsheet then that is the team your member # is associated with and I think after the next BOD meeting that will be a rule based on the agenda. But you as an individual can register for a comp under a different team name you just can't use your KCBS number. So you can keep the number with the 3 of you or can sue it with your family group. Your choice.
And it's all legal and its fine for SAMS. It's only the head cook for the team entered for SAMS or TOY that matters. All the rest of the discussion is really about maybe 25 teams and TOU and doesn't apply to the majority of members.
