The united states at present has the lowest level of corn reserves in 25 years. this is association with commodity traders who dont even use corn, they just make money gambling on the price, have driven up corn prices which all feedlots depend on to the finish beef or pork for the market, futures indicate that both beef and pork will rise at least 40-50 cents a # by Memorial day with no downward movement till fall. you can expect to also find smaller packers as the cattle are being processed at a lower weight to save feed costs. Sorry for the bad news. stock up now
