normally I make my rubs up as I need, mixing up in a bowl. Yesterday, I made up a batch and placed in a coffee grinder to "powder" the rub. I am cooking 9 slabs of ribs today with the powder and am a little anxious to see how it turns out. Do any of you run your rubs through a grinder and if so, how do you like the results? It seems that the meat would absorb the rub better in a powder form.
