It is a fact that teams are signed up to cook more than one contest. Anyone who thinks differently is 100% incorrect. I could have easily signed up to cook one under my KCBS # and then signed up for another under my wifes KCBS # and slightly changed my team name by adding the word too, or 2 or maybe even adding a city name after my team name. It was done and they are still in. I did not do this because it is not fair to those that did not get into a contest at all. It is ashame that the greed has taken over but it will when the dollar figures start getting up there. Cooking more than one local in this series sure does make the odds go up in your favor of making a regional. What are these guys that did this going to do if they make two regionals. All of this will come out as the series gets going. The circuit is still a pretty close core group of folks and there is still a majority that beleive in the honor system and how it for the most part works.
