Amen! I actually wrote a blog about this exact "phenomena" for bbqfanskc.com (sorry). The thing about it is, I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing that just about anyone can make great barbecue easily. That was part of the goal from the beginning. The problem is that when it got easier (thanks to the hard work of "pioneers" in the game), respect for the process dwindled.
