Mike, I wholeheartedly agree with you on the slicers! We purchased an inexpensive one a few years ago before the Dillon, CO contest for slicing during vending... it SUCKED!!! It's back in the box in our storage unit and hasn't been plugged in since that 2007 event! Heck, I don't think I even cleaned it I was so disappointed.
