While I am sure I don't have all of the information that the board had, it does seem that the other contest in CA were the ones who did not like it. As an orginizer I can fully understand there position in that having any contest on the same date that close will have a negative impact on there event. How much of one no one knows untill it happens. Now you throw in the Vegas one and the impact gets bigger. Someone said the KCBS shouldn't be the police but if they don't give some guidance then it would run wild with everyone steping on each other. While I feel for you, you did change your date, had you stayed on the same date this would not be an issue.
