I've been thinking of things to cook, along with the meat, in the pit and I'm wondering about halved acorn squash...you know, the kind with the butter and brown sugar and cinnamon in the cavity. Well, I'm wondering how long it would take to cook at a temp of 250 Deg. and whether I should wrap them in foil, or leave them uncovered to get a little smokey. Anyone have experience doing this. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
