First, thanks to everyone for the suggestions. We had a great time. Hit a few places but really just enjoyed the nice weather and several beverages. German Commissary was great for lunch on Friday. The pork was really good and the sides were, too. The BBQ Shop combo platter was good for dinner afterwards. They didn't need to add extra rub to the dry ribs, but the food was great. On the fence about Dancing Pigs sauce, though. We had Gus's fried chicken for dinner Saturday and it was super. Crispy, spicy, moist but not greasy. Sides were so-so. Some of the best chicken I have had at a restaurant since the old Strouds. We had dinner Sunday at A&Rs and that was some of the best hot links I have had. Catfish and sides were good as well as the pork sandwich. Hot wasn't that hot. Mix all of that in with some good beverages at Boscos, the Flying Saucer and my friend's patio and it was a great weekend. 75+ on the patio yesterday is a bit of a change from 20's and windy when we returned, though!
