I'm not making an issue here, as a DQ is a DQ, but since I see surgical analysis of KCBS rules and interpretations on a regular basis in this forum, I thought I'd just make one little comment.

Rosettes are not so much a "marked container" (rule #14) as much as they are "sculptured meat." (rule #9) Now, if you put your rosette on a toothpic or other fastener and stick into the lid of the turn-in box, I think the "marked container" rule would apply ... as well as others! I'd say, if you're going to put a rosette on your turn-in box, make sure you add a sticker or drawing of your team logo! Sorry, just being a little silly.

Like I said, either way, it's a DQ.
