I'd be real leery of a competition cook who's had a few too many Jack Daniels using pins in their chicken, and who 'neglected' to remove all the pins from their entry. Not only a definate DQ, but the risk of serious injury to anyone eating said chicken. Careful with pins, if you must use them. Better yet, skip the pins. I don't want to think about it.
