Make sure your cooler is hot to begin with. Pour some hot water in it and close the lid for at about 15 minutes. Empty water out and put the butts in. Wrap the butts in towels. We keep a stack of old towels just for this. The key is to not have any air in the cooler. Once the butts are in, layer as many towels as you can to fill any space. The less air space, the longer your butts will stay warm. We've kept butts warm for over 6 hours with a tightly packed cooler.
