I had the same problem recently. Double foiled, wrapped in old beach towels and packed tightly into cooler (nothing special). Hardly any space left in cooler. Scared to death when hadn't eaten until about 6 hours later. Came out pretty hot still (didn't think to measure temp). Happy with results. I think with this method going 6 hours, or even possible another hour or two, would be ok. I'd get worried at 7 but it might be ok. May want to therma probe right out of cooler to be sure.
