Well, now that I know I'm not alone here, YES. I told myself I wasn't going to do anymore contests. Then I thought, you know, the more I think of it, it's all the set up and tear down that's hurting us. Need to make things eaiser not any more harder. So, I have been thinking of selling ALL that I have and buy a trailer and an FEC. Everyone I know that has done this says it's the way to go. Then if it don't work out, sell it and retire.
Haven't bought any of the new stuff yet cause we are only doing one contest this year. Going to take a weeks vacation in place of a few contests. But I'm excited to do the one contest and keep thinking of what can be.
Now I haven't cooked anything since last year's contests and I SUCKED big time. So as soon as the weather breaks, I have a few tricks I'm going to practice on.
Keep your head up. It's not as bad as you think. Just remember all to good times you had up to this point.
