There is no excuse for someone's picking up the wrong stuff unless they send someone who thinks they know, but don't really know, what actually was turned in...like one of their kids. My experience parallels Clif's. I've rarely had anyone complain about someone taking the wrong stuff, but I've seen many, many trays, dishes, ramekins, serving spoons, forks, etc., etc., left behind at the turn-in table until long after I've left long after awards.
