They are covering theirs tails with a liability clause, don't know if it will be enforced, but who wants to chance that. I think it's a smart move concidering all the suits they have had on minor issues.
You get some guy like I read about on the forum in Houston who set off tear gas, one awhole can ruin everything.

I think you will see more legal disclaimers like this in future events, especially if you have corporate sponsorship. Big money brings big liabilities.

The issue that bothers me the most is allowing the general public into your site. That is a liabilty for me at that point.
