Brisket Needs Help

I cooked a brisket a couple of weeks ago that was "extremely" trimmed by the market. I injected it. It is not too dry, but has no flavor, taste about like cardboard. Later, I remember cooking one like this about ten years ago that turned out the same; pays to have a good memory, which I don't. It is sliced for sandwiches and in the freezer, but I need to figure out a way to put some flavor in it or else feed the dog, if she will eat it. One thought is to grind it in the food processor with BBQ sauce and make sandwiches that way. Am wondering if there would be anything better than BBQ sauce, or if I might add something to the sauce that would help? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Anyway, I'm through with trimmed briskets, at least until I forget again.
