I have a 60D and have cooked and competed on it for a two years. It is a great smoker, especially for the money. Before I had a charcoal basket made for the fire box, it was tricky to maintain temp. So that is a must for the smoker. I really don't use the verticle chamber very much, other than for cooking sides or keeping sauce hot, ect....but I know there is a mod that Lang does to help you get the verticle chamber hotter, by allowing heat to go straight from the fire box to the verticle cooker. One thing that I haven't been able to do, really, is grill. I know they say it can get so hot you can cook burgers, ect......but for the most part it's just "cooking" them, and it's not a sizzle/grilling....and that is with a freaking rolling fire in the box.

So......overall, I love my Lang, and I did a lot of research, even going to the Klose plant for an afternoon. But for the money, it is awesome.
