Yes, I heard that, too, and also know to whom you refer. But, I don't know that to be fact. Given that DC's streets are open until about 6:00pm for rush hour traffic dissapation and given MPD's (Metropolitan Police Departement) propensity for gladly handing out parking tickets, I can't help but wonder about that. On the other hand, given DC's Chicago-like politics, maybe someone made a generous campaign contribution. LOL. Regardless, I'll concede there may be a rare exception to any rule. Afterall, 2 years ago, I know a team asked to be able to leave the site after KCBS turn-ins because they had to prepare for a Sunday afternoon catering gig. They were placed adjacent to a side gate so they could make an easy exit. But, as you corroborated, generally, we mere mortals can't access or leave the site until the appointed time. That said, did you even ask the organizer to make an exception for your team? Good Q'en On Ya'. John
