ray how do you standardize taste when everybodies tastes are different.the other two, presentation and tenderness is also jubjective...I agree with poppasam on the time issue I enjoy judging at a FBA contest and at a KCBS contest it seems rushed also I dont think as judges we need to digest what we sampled and every thirty minutes we cant..I have asked kcbs why cant we have either 45 minutes between categories or an hour (usually ask about 60 minutes first) but I know they dont want to be like the FBA in that...I know that being paid wont happen but what about reimbursed for mileage travelled...12 years ago I put almost 7,000 miles on my car going to 24 contests one year ..I dont do that anymore
