Ray I've said for years, their should be a 2 year school (minimum) for jurists, that have an AAS or even a BA degree to sit on a jury. I would rather people with "some" knowledge of the law, making these kind of decisions on our behalf. So, the same could hold for BBQ also. A lot of logistics to be rung out to have enough at each contest though, seems there aren't enough already often times from what I read. Just as in many other events, jobs, etc, you should have to renew your certification every couple years to stay current. I do critical care full time, but still need to renew my BLS, ACLS and PALS every 2 years to keep working at my job even though I do it near every day. Your point is good in my opinion.
