Cliff,when i bought the Lang i sprayed it down inside and out with veg.oil,cheap brand from wally worldfired it up got it up to 350* and held it there for about 2 hours then sprayed it down inside one more time dropped temp to 300* for 1 hour then cooked a bunch of chicken halves
