I bought one of the Cabela's CG-15 Vacuum Sealers and froze a lot of Brisket and Chuck Roasts for when my BBQ season starts. My question about vacuum sealing foods is this...say I buy a nice beef roast on a Friday and don't want to cook it until later in the next week...Will a vacuum sealed piece of meat stay fresher for a longer period in the fridge if vacuum sealed...or will it only benefit from freezing??? Just wondering out loud...
