Well we have two firsts in Smoke on the Water's History. Last year at the USA Championship we had a team from Tokyo, which was a great experience. Ribs with soy sauce. This year's event in Vegas has drawn 2 teams from Anchorage, Alaska and Puerto Rico. I think with the exposure barbecue is getting on TV and the publicity the Sam's Club tour has generated, we're about to see a whole new world open up. I've always said if you can make a million dollars catching a fish, why in can't you make that being the best in the barbecue world. I know big money contests have been criticized, but we sure have come a long way since Our first $5,000 contest 12 years ago. I think a million dollar purse is closer than I predicted with TV and National sponsors realizing what the barbecue world has to offer! Already having discussions for 2012.
