Smoked Lamb Roast -- Help

I need some help. I've been asked to smoke a 5-7 pound deboned lamb roast for this Sunday. The finshed product needs to cooked to a medium rare. I have no idea how long to gauge the amount of time to cook or how I should season this beast.

Has anyone tried smoking lamb and do you have any pointers? Also, how strong will the taste be?
