I've got a Kipor 6000 that I've been using for almost a year now. We use it to keep our Ice Cream cold while going to events and waiting for shore power at events. When I started looking for a genny I ran into some info that I found interesting. I was told that Kipor makes the parts for Honda and after those became a hot item magically Kipor came out with their own. We all know how China follows patent law to a "T" right? Well, it seems that Honda sued Kipor for copying their stuff and so it goes. So far (knock wood) everything is working good. It was filled with synthetic oil from the gate and I changed it after about 10 hours just to be sure it had clean stuff in it. It's pretty good on fuel I've gotten 8 hours without running out of gas so far. My only complaint is the front legs are cheap and needed a cross brace and the rear wheels needed 7-8 5/8 washers per side to take up slop on the axle so the wheels don't wobble. Starts every time, is comparable to Honda in noise level and a grand less if you shop around.
