I agree with the comments about trends and the expected norms also Ray. Most of todays compitition cooks think spices and sauces are BBQ. Excellent BBQ should stand own its on, maybe a little sauce to enhance the flavor but not be the flavor.If more cooks starting turning in real BBQ again you would see the over sauced and spiced meat fall by the way side.
